I am an award-winning journalist based in Helsinki, Finland.

I have spent nearly two decades reporting from the Nordic region, as well as from Italy and East Africa. I currently work as the Helsinki Correspondent for Monocle Magazine and Monocle Radio. I am also a regular contributor to the Finnish national broadcaster Yle and Monocle’s sister magazine Konfekt.

My work has been published in SUITCASE Magazine, Politico Europe, the Economist Intelligence Unit, Al-Jazeera English, Crafts Magazine and I have appeared on live news shows on Deutsche Welle and the BBC.

I also offer media and interview training in Finnish and English.
